Local government flood maps and data

In Queensland, local governments have the primary responsibility for flood maps, data collection, and analysis. This responsibility including the installation and maintenance of the flood warning infrastructure network, published flood study results, and provision of layers of mapped flood extents.

The following list of Queensland's local governments (in alphabetical order) provides links to those councils where web pages have been published with available flood maps, flood data and resources. Note that flood information may be published in different formats by different councils, and some councils do not currently have flood maps and data either available or published.
